These are unprecedented times for Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) as we deal with the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. In these extraordinary times, the OCSA community must come together to help one another, to show care and compassion for those who are vulnerable, and to each do our part in service of the greater good.
In response to the surging infection rate of COVID-19, Governor Newsom has mandated that all public and private schools in Orange County keep campuses closed to on-campus instruction at the start of the fall semester. Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) is prepared to begin the 2020-2021 school year with a full virtual model of instruction in order to ensure the health and safety of our students, our staff, and our school community.
For this reason all live performances and special events have been postponed until further notice.
Conservatory directors and teachers are working daily to create collaborative opportunities and digital platforms to highlight the talents of our exceptional students. We have great confidence in the leadership and creativity of our faculty, who are designing meaningful virtual performances, master classes, and experiences to make the best of this difficult situation.
Thank you for your understanding and stay tuned for more information on the 2020 – 2021 season!
